The Butterfly Effect
"Does the flap of a butterfly's wings in Texas set off a tornado in Brazil?"
A butterfly outline embedded against a cracked wooden plank showing the concentration and spread of the stars from one corner to the other. The scattered stars vary in alpha, showing the butterfly lost in the middle of the stars. The outline of the inked butterfly allows the wood in the background to shine. The misty glow given to the whole image shows us the uncertainty caused by the 'effect'.
As poetic and natural a butterfly is, one thing leads to another and causes a tornado. The beauty of the star against the grace of the butterfly with the creaking wood disintegrating is The Butterfly Effect.

The Phoenix's Revival
"Flying through the desert skies, the Phoenix defies fortune's spite; revive from the ashes and rise."
A cryptic spreadeagled phoenix tattooed against fiery clouds, rising from the burning trees below.
Themed with singed-brown and white, the design focuses on the trees and the clouds. The lack of detail given to the phoenix emphasizes the size of the bird. It's transparency allows it to merge into the clouds showing the Phoenix's struggle to recreate itself.

Superman Redefined
Faster than a speeding bullet. More powerful than a locomotive. Able to leap tall buildings in a single bound.
"The Man of Steel"
An eerie and metallic touch to the all time classic superhero symbol. Backgrounded on uneven platforms with broken rippled and checked textures, it shows a wartorn and unbroken side of The Last Son of Krypton.
